Below is a explanation of the mastering process and what to expect from our mastering service.

Mastering is what gives depth, punch, clarity and volume to your tracks.

Mastering is widely misunderstood, often mangled, and sometimes mistaken for mixing.
So, what is mastering? It's the final audio process of preparing mixes for production/duplication. Ensuring tracks on an Album or EP are a coherent and each track has a sonic likeness regardless if tracks were recorded with different people and at different times.

The Mastering Process usually involves using solid-state hardware stereo compressors and equalisers, high-end software processors and a choice of playback monitors to ensure your tracks sound great on any playback system.

This is usually your last chance to get that little extra out of your tracks and guarantee that your tracks are loud and can stand up against the competition.

People at record labels and radio have become used to hearing a polished and fully finished recording. Comparisons with tracks that aren't mastered can be alarming.
